Bae: Sivakarthikeyan, Priyanka Mohan make for an adorable pair in Anirudh's melody song

The release date of Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Don was announced as March 25 recently. However, the date is likely to be changed as Lyca Productions, which will distribute the magnum opus RRR in Tamil Nadu, is presenting the former as well. In fact, the release date announcement of the Rajamouli directorial was made on the same day as that of Don.

The team of Don had earlier unveiled its first single, Jalabulajangu, which went on to be a highly successful one among the fans of Sivakarthikeyan and Anirudh, who composed music for the same. 

The makers have now come up with its second single, titled Bae. Aditya RK has lent voice to this melody track which has lyrics penned by Vignesh Shivan. The filmmaker-lyricist has been writing lyrics for several big ticket flicks in the recent times. The four-minute video has Sivakarthikeyan and the film's female lead Priyanka Mohan seen completely in love with each other. 

Their chemistry and expressions are one of the highlights of the song. Brindha has choreographed the dance movements of the song which has beautiful visuals by KM Bhaskaran. The slow-paced romantic track is expected to be another chartbuster for Anirudh. The movie marks the composer's 25th project.  

Don stars Samuthirakani, Gautham Menon, SJ Suryah, Kaali Venkat, Shivaangi, Balasaravanan and Soori among others in crucial roles. The comic caper has been jointly produced by Sivakarthikeyan Productions and Lyca Productions. The shooting of the project was wrapped up a while ago. 

The film directed by Cibi Chakaravarthi will have Sivakarthikeyan essaying the role of an engineering student for the first time in his career. Priyanka and Shivaangi among others will be seen as his classmates in the fun-filled entertainer. Nagooran and Vicky have handled editing and stunt choreography respectively for the movie.
