There is a pleasant surprise for the fans this Valentine month from the makers of Badhaai Do. The makers of the Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar's film have released their music album that you can listen to in the loop as you celebrate the month of love with your partners. The playlist from the film has about seven songs, composed by Amit Trivedi to add to the fervour.
The songs from the album include the title track, sung by Nakash Aziz, Rajnigandha Shekhawat and Raja Sagoo; Atak Gaya by Arijit Singh; Hum Thay Seedhe Saadhe by Raj Barman and recreated by other singers; Gol Gappa by Neha Kakkar and Amit Trivedi; Bandi Tot by Ankit Tiwari and Nikhita Gandhi; Hum Rang Hai by Shashaa Tirupati, Nakash Aziz and Amit Trivedi; and Maange Manzooriyan, the female version of which is sung by Maalavika Manoj and the male version by Abhay Jodhpurkar. The lyrics of the songs are written by Vayu, Varun Grover, Anvita Dutt, Anurag Bhomia and Azeem Shirazi.
The song Atak Gaya by Arijit Singh is a soulful romantic track and is sure to get you hooked on it. So is the song Hum Thay Seedhe Saadhe. It is yet another romantic melody from the rom-com. Gol Gappa is a peppy and quirky number, which will force you to shake a leg on the dance floor. The song sung by Neha Kakkar and Amit Trivedi is fun and the lyrics are sure to make you laugh. Bandi Tot is another party number while Hum Rang Hai is a slow melody that will make you reminisce your memories with your loved ones. Mange Mazooriyan is a soulful rendition by Maalavika Manoj and Abhay Jodhpurkar.
The fans have been waiting eagerly for the film Badhaai Do ever since its announcement and their expectations have only increased after watching the trailer. The fans have been pouring in all the love and appreciation for the movie and the actors. The film is based on Rajkummar's and Bhumi's characters who stay roommates after getting married under familial pressure as they struggle to come out of the closet. Their living arrangement seems to lead to a lot of comedy-of-error situations.
The film stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles, alongside Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chaddha, Lovleen Mishra, Nitesh Pandey, Shashi Bhushan, Chum Darang and Deepak Arora. Directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, written by Akshat Ghildial and Suman Adhikary, the film will release in theatres on February 11.
