With Prithviraj Sukumaran's masked look and the leading roles played by Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is turning out to be one of the most-anticipated films of this year. With just a week remaining before the film's big-screen debut on April 10, 2024, the Malayalam actor-filmmaker's decision to play the antagonist in the Ali Abbas Zafar-directed film has come as a surprise.

Prashant Neel's persuasion and Prithviraj's initial reluctance

Prithviraj recently discussed his involvement with the action entertainer, revealing that his Salaar director, Prashant Neel, persuaded him to star. The actor disclosed that he was simultaneously filming Salaar and another film. In addition, as an amateur filmmaker, he can attest to the challenges inherent in bringing a weighty film like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan to life. Alaya F., Manushi Chhillar, Sonakshi Sinha, Tiger Shroff, and Akshay Kumar are just a few of the actors whose schedules and availability need to be in perfect harmony.

Afterwards, Prithviraj informed Ali that he preferred not to intervene lest he utterly derail the entire scheme. From the first narration onward, the story unfolded beautifully and left a profound impact. In an effort to get this film made, he switched himself off and notified his wife, Supriya, and his manager. It appeared, though, to the actor that it was simply not going to materialise.

Ali Abbas Zafar's dedication to accommodate Prithviraj's schedule

Prithviraj went on to say that he was filming Salaar's climax, and he recalls this because he was discussing Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Neel while covered in blood. The actor had been gushing about the film for 10–15 minutes when the KGF director pivoted and declared that if Prithviraj let this film go, he would be very sad. To which the actor responded with a simple "probably."

Something occurred that night that slightly affected another one of his films. Ali then made some serious adjustments and rearranged certain things to accommodate him. The filmmaker persuaded Prithviraj to spend 2.5 days travelling to Scotland's Glendale for a four-hour shoot and then another 2.5 days returning to his base in Manali. Thus, that exemplified Ali's meticulousness towards the actor.
