Bade Miyan Chote Miyan box office day 3 (worldwide) - The box office trajectory that both the big Eid 2024 releases have shown has left everyone surprised. While it was expected that one would perform better than the other, no one ever thought that both would struggle to make it big in their own ways. While Maidaan, even after being the better-reviewed movie, has not managed to make much of a dent at the box office, the story with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is no different. The movie may have outperformed Maidaan, but it is far from being a successful venture because it has not met the estimations even for a single time in the last three days compared to the releases of the same scale that came before. Now, as the worldwide numbers for day three drop, it seems like the movie has finally found some redemption in the first weekend.
All eyes were on the box office trajectory as Bade Miyan Chote Miyan entered its first weekend after having an extended run with its Eid 2024 release and also the paid previews. The film, which underperformed in the first two days of its release, was expected to see some elevation on the third day as it was the first Saturday post-release. The Indian box office did show some improvement compared to the first two days, but it turns out the improvement is also reflected in the worldwide market, where the movie has now managed to bring in a little over Rs 20 crore globally.
The worldwide box office collection of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan now stands at a total of Rs 76.01 crore. This number also includes the paid previews that happened on April 10, a day before the movie was officially released worldwide. The number indicates that the movie has now begun its journey to Rs 100 crore. However, there is still a long way for the film to break even if the budget of the movie is considered. Reportedly, the film was made on a budget of over Rs 300 crore, which means the projection is not enough, and the film will have to perform better.

At the domestic box office, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan managed to bring in Rs 8.5 crore, resulting in a total domestic collection of Rs 31.75 crore. The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chillar, and Alaya F. The movie is expected to receive a bit more push today as the audience will step out to go to theatres more comparatively.
However, the makers have also reacted to a controversy that was lurking around. A viral video circulating on social media claimed that a scene in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan features a mosque being blasted. The makers clarified that it is not a mosque but a nuclear plant with a dome. They stated that they would never opt for something that hurts religious sentiments. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more information on this and everything else from the world of streaming and films.
