Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is one of the highly anticipated releases of the year. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 11, 2024, i.e., on Eid. It is clashing with Ajay Devgn's Maidaan at the box office. However, Maidaan's paid previews start at 6 pm today (April 10). Amid this, there is an update on the booking sales of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. As per media reports, the film has sold 17,000 tickets in national chains for the opening day.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan advance booking report

Buzz is that Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan sold approximately 12,300 tickets at PVRInox and 4,700 tickets were sold at Cinepolis. Hence, the total number of tickets sold for BMCM in national chains is 17,000.

While Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has sold 17,000 tickets, its box office competitor Maidaan has sold around 12,950 tickets (including the paid preview ones). The Ajay Devgn film managed to sell 10,400 tickets at PVRInox, while only 2,550 tickets were sold at Cinepolis.

Ali Abbas Zafar on Bade Miyan Chote Miyan vs. Maidaan at box office

Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, director Ali Abbas Zafar opened up about Bade Miyan Chote Miyan's box office clash with Maidaan at the box office. "I feel we are two very different films and both films will offer the best to the audience so please go and watch it this Eid," the filmmaker said. 

The director further requested that everyone go and watch both Maidaan and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan whenever they have time. He urged people to support the film industry and there's no clash or negativity among the industry members. As far as BMCM is concerned, the film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F, Ronit Roy and Manushi Chhillar.
