Promising yet another hilarious comedy, the makers of 2019’s hit film Good Newzz are all set for the release of their upcoming film Bad Newz. Starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk in the lead roles, the film has already become the talk of the town thanks to its hilarious trailer and three amazing songs - Tauba Tauba, Jaanam, and the recently released song Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam. The much-anticipated film which introduces fresh on-screen couples is scheduled to hit cinemas on 19th July 2024.
Bad Newz Trailer and plot
The trailer of the film was unveiled on June 28, 2024. Billed as a comedy caper, the film revolves around Triptii Dimri’s unique pregnancy. Why unique? Because she’s pregnant with two men - Vicky and Ammy’s characters, because of an extremely rare scientific occurrence. The trailer takes us on a roller coaster ride of funny sequences, hilarious dialogues, and promising performances.

Bad Newz cast and crew
The lead cast of Bad Newz includes Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk. The film also stars Neha Dhupia in a pivotal role with Ananya Panday’s cameo.
Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film marks the second collaboration for Vicky and Anand, who previously worked together on the latter's directorial debut, 'Love per Square Foot' (2018). The film also starred Anand's wife Angira Dhar.
Bad Newz on OTT
The official announcement about the OTT partner of the film has not yet been announced by the makers but according to the trailer, the film will be released on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical release.
