Directed by Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz stars Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk in the lead roles. The much-anticipated film is all set to release in theatres tomorrow, July 19th. According to recent reports, the film has taken a good start in terms of advance bookings, which started on 16th July.

The Karan Johar-produced Bad Newz has sold around 6000 tickets in chains like PVR Inox and Cinepolis according to the reports by Pinkvilla. The portal also reported that the overall sale of the tickets in India is already more than 10000 tickets. With the entire full day today, the film is expected to target more tickets in the top chain and might end with good numbers by the time the advance bookings end.
With the amount of love the trailer and all three songs of the film, especially Tauba Tauba have received, the film is sure to attract a lot of footfalls at the ticket window. With Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk's comic timings to Triptii Dimri's on-screen aura, the audience is excited to watch the trio entertain us with their unique and quirky love story.

After working together on the 2018 film Love Per Square Foot, the film marks the second collaboration for Vicky and Anand. Besides Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, the film also stars Neha Dhupia in a pivotal role with Ananya Panday’s cameo.
