Duniya Suri's much-awaited crime action film Bad Manners finally has a release date. Very recently, the film's leading man Abishek Ambareesh took to social media to announce that Bad Manners will be out in theatres on November 24th, 2023.
As a result, the film will have a face-off, as it were, with Raj B Shetty's Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye at the box office on November 24th. The latter film, interestingly, is starkly dissimilar to Bad Manners in terms of both tone and subject matter but this would mean the audience will have two completely different and equally exciting films to choose from at the cinemas.
Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye, a romance-drama, stars Raj B Shetty and Siri Ravikumar with Ramya serving as the film's producer (debut) under the banner of Applebox Studios.
Coming back to Bad Manners, Abishek Ambareesh and Duniya Suri's collaboration has been generating good buzz right from the time it went on floors but the film's release date has been a major point of uncertainty for the Kannada film patrons. The film was originally rumoured to come out in June 2023 but the team deferred on that for some reason, now finally choosing to hit the big screens on November 24th.
It won't be incorrect to term the film as Abishek Ambareesh's second crack at making a debut after making a slightly underwhelming start to his career back in 2019. The Nagashekar directorial failed to attract encouraging reviews from both critics and audiences and wasn't able to yield good results at the box office either. With Bad Manners though, Abishek seems to have come a considerable way as an actor.
