Baby makers team up for a romance drama with Santosh Soban; Naga Chaitanya graces the launch event

Santosh Soban continues to be a hot favourite for producers, directors aiming to make a small/medium budget film. The budding actor has had multiple releases this year - Kalyanam Kamaneeyam, Sridevi Shobhan Babu, Anni Manchi Sakunamule, Prem Kumar. He’s also awaiting the release of a film titled Joruga Hushaaruga Shikaaru Podhama. Now, Santosh has signed a new project.

His next film will have him paired opposite Harika Alekhya. The untitled project will be a joint production between Mass Movie Makers and Amrutha Creations, founded by producer SKN and director Sai Rajesh respectively, the makers of the recent blockbuster Baby. The film, which has story, screenplay by Sai Rajesh was launched today in the presence of the cast, crew and actor Naga Chaitanya.

Suman Pathuri, who helmed the Nandi Award-winning Inkosari will be directing the project, touted to be a hard-hitting romance drama. Ashkar Ali will crank the camera for the project while Vijai Bulganin, who scored the music, is the cinematographer. Viplav Nyshadam is on board as the editor. Dheeraj Mogilineni, Ramesh Peddeti are also part of the crew.

In the first poster shared by the team, both the lead actors are seen sharing a passionate kiss. “Some love stories haunt you for a lifetime,” the film’s caption reads. “Happy to launch this Intriguing Pre-look of @AmruthaProd & @massmoviemakers Production No.4 with the super talented @santoshsoban & @harika_alekhya. Best wishes to Producers @SKNonline, @sairazesh and director @sumankpathuri,” Naga Chaitanya wished the team.

Santosh Soban will sport a bearded look for the same. Harika Alekhya expressed her gratitude to the team and for trusting her to do the film. The shoot will commence shortly. Meanwhile, the lead pair of Baby - Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya - are reuniting for a love story. The makers of Baby are also producing a film The Girlfriend, starring Rashmika Mandanna.
