Bollywood star Varun Dhawan, who is busy juggling the duties of a husband and an actor, recently resumed the shoot for his upcoming film Baby John. The star also shared BTS pictures from the sets of Baby John on his social media handle and also revealed that it was one of the hardest shoots he has ever been on. The film is backed by Atlee, who had earlier directed Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan.

Taking to Instagram, Varun Dhawan shared two pictures from the sets of Baby John. In the first picture, the actor is standing on a podium, wearing a black hoodie with the words, “Baby John” written on it. There was also blood on his face, building anticipation for the upcoming action-adventure film. In the caption, Varun also revealed that on day 70 of the shooting, the cast shot overnight.
The actor captioned the post, “#BABYJOHN -day 70. Filming relentlessly till the sun didn’t rise and then also our unit kept going. One of the hardest shoots Iv been on #grind.”
The two pictures have rightly built anticipation among the audience who expressed their excitement in the comment section. One user wrote, “Aaya Babyjohn (with a fire emoji)” while another wrote, “Ab aayega maja na bhidu (the fun begins).”

Backed by Jawan director Atlee and helmed by A Kaleeswaran, Baby John is a Hindi remake of Tamil superstar Vijay's hit film, Theri. Earlier, the makers of the film shared the poster of Baby John on their Instagram handle, featuring Varun Dhawan. The caption read, “Hold on tight, the ride is about to get wild. #BabyJohn coming to your nearest theaters on May 31st!”

Baby John, which was earlier tentatively titled VD18, stars Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in pivotal roles. The film marks the Hindi film debut of Keerthy Suresh. Also featuring Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav in supporting roles, the film is set to hit the theatres on May 31.
