Baby John: Varun Dhawan looks intensely fierce in new video, taster cut to release on Nov 1; Janhvi Kapoor reacts

Varun Dhawan's upcoming film, Baby John, has been generating excitement since its announcement. Directed by A. Kaleeswaran and produced by Atlee, Murad Khetani, and Jyoti Deshpande under Jio Studios, Cine1 Studios, and A for Apple Productions, the film is an official remake of Atlee's Tamil film Theri. Now, a new video has been revealed where Varun looks intense with his fierce look. 

Varun Dhawan's Baby John new video

On October 31, the makers dropped a new video of Baby John featuring Varun Dhawan ahead of the teaser release. In the clip, the actor's face can be seen on an axe, filled with blood. This short clip teases the plot of the action thriller and also the character of Varun.

The text on the clip reads, "Taster Cut Coming Soon. Baby John."

The caption of the post read, "Are you REAAAAADDDDY, Don’t miss the exclusive #BabyJohnTasterCut, only in theaters from 1st November."

Reacting to the short clip, Janhvi Kapoor dropped fire emojis. 

The teaser for Varun Dhawan's highly anticipated mass action film has received a U/A certification from CBFC. It is set to be released in theaters alongside Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. For those who are unaware, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will hit theaters on November 1, 2024, during Diwali. With a runtime of 2 minutes, the teaser is expected to give exciting glimpses of action and drama.

Back in February, Varun unveiled a new poster of his look from the film. He donned a black vest, sporting a half ponytail, and posing with a menacing look in the poster. He stands scarred, so to speak, in the background of a mythological figure who appears to be the main villain of the film.

While sharing the poster, Varun captioned it, "Hold on tight; the ride is about to get wild. #BabyJohn is coming to your nearest theatres on May 31st! (sic)"

More about Baby John

For the unversed, Keerthy Suresh is making her debut in the Hindi cinema industry with baby John and so is Wamiqa Gabbi. The film also features Rajpal Yadav and Jacky Shroff in pivotal roles. On the other hand, Salman Khan is making a cameo appearance, reportedly as a senior cop and a mentor to Varun's character.

Baby John, which is the result of a partnership between one of the most creative forces in the Indian film industry, promises to deliver an extraordinary cinematic experience to the audience.

Meanwhile, Baby John will hit theaters on December 25, 2024.
