Varun Dhawn starrer Baby John was one of the most-anticipated films of 2024. Kalees-directed movie was released in cinemas on December 25. The movie is produced by Atlee and was estimated to earn ₹13 crore on the opening day. However, it managed to collected Rs. 11.25 crore, as per Sacnilk. Now, the day 2 box office collection is even more unsatisfying as it had a signficant dip.
Baby John Box Office Update Day 2
As per Sacnilk, Baby John managed to collect Rs. 4.50 crore (early estimates) in India on day 2. The film was released on Christmas. It saw a significant dip at the box office even though it had a gripping start.
The film registered a business of ₹11.25 crore on day 1. Now, with the second-day numbers in, the total collection in India is ₹15.75 crore (nett) approximately.

The action-packed thriller also stars Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav along with a special cameo appearance by Salman Khan.
While Varun plays DCP Satya Verma IPS, alias Baby John, Keerthy Suresh is seen as Meera Verma, his wife. Zara Zyanna portrays Khushi Verma, their daughter, while Wamiqa Gabbi appears as Khushi's teacher. Jackie Shroff plays Babbar Sher, while Rajpal Yadav portrays Head Constable Ram Sevak. B. S. Avinash has a supporting part, while Sheeba Chaddha plays the role of Satya's mother.
The OTTplay review of Baby John says, "Baby John tries to rock the cradle of Bollywood with South Indian masala but ends up crying over spilt milk. While Varun Dhawan flexes his dual avatars, the film crawls in its crib of clichés, unable to walk the tightrope between style and substance."
Baby John OTT partner revealed
Baby John will be available for streaming on Prime Video in 2025, following its theatrical release. The OTT release date is yet to be announced.
