Baby John Box Office Collection Day 4- The box office haul is a tricky beast, and no one has quite figured out the formula for creating a perfect movie every time. Pushpa 2: The Rule continues its reign at the Indian box office, minting massive numbers daily, even on its 25th day. Its dominance has overshadowed other releases, making it challenging for films like Baby John to find their footing. Released on December 25, Baby John had a decent opening day but began struggling from day two onward. As reports suggest, the film is now inching toward rock bottom and may fade from cinemas soon. While its day 4 collection shows a slight improvement over day 3, the numbers remain underwhelming.
Varun Dhawan's Baby John, co-starring Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi, is a remake of Atlee's Theri. Riding on strong pre-release buzz, the Atlee-produced big-budget movie benefitted from a Christmas release, but its opening day collections fell short of expectations. Day 3 witnessed a significant drop, and despite entering its first weekend, the film has struggled to attract audiences.
According to Sacnilk, Baby John has failed to recover even half of its opening-day collection on day 4. The film earned only ₹4.25 crore domestically on its fourth day, a minor improvement from day 3’s ₹3.65 crore. This lackluster performance raises concerns, with Sunday’s numbers critical to gauging the film’s future in theaters.
The domestic box office total for Baby John now stands at ₹23.90 crore. Given its ₹160 crore budget, the film needs to earn 570% more to break even, as reported by Koimoi. However, with the current trend, achieving this milestone seems highly unlikely.
Interestingly, Baby John marks Varun Dhawan’s best opening day in the last five years. While Bhediya garnered ₹7.48 crore on its first day and Jugjugg Jeeyo collected ₹9.28 crore, Baby John surpassed both. This offers some solace for the actor despite the film's overall underperformance.
