Baba Siddique death: Salman Khan cancels meetings, family requests privacy amid beefed up security | REPORT

After the shocking incident of Senior NCP leader Baba Siddique's murder, security has beefed up outside Salman Khan's Mumbai residence. Now, a recent report suggests that the superstar has canceled all meetings and his family has requested privacy amid this hard time.

India Today reported that Salman Khan is devastated and in a lot of pain after losing his dear friend Baba Siddique. The report also mentioned that after he returned home from Lilavati Hospital late last night, the actor was unable to sleep and has been constantly checking on Zeeshan (Baba Siddique's son) and the family.

“Bhai has been on the phone checking on the funeral arrangements and every other detail. He has canceled all his personal meetings for the next few days as well," the source added.

On the other hand, Salman’s close family members are equally devastated by the loss. 

Security beefed up outside Salman Khan's residence

ANI shared a video on their X which shows tight security outside Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai. The tweet read, "WATCH | Mumbai, Maharashtra | Security enhanced outside Galaxy apartments, the residence of actor Salman Khan (sic)."

Lawrence Bishnoi gang takes responsibility for Baba Siddique's murder

A gang member of Lawrence Bishnoi shared a Facebook post to claim responsibility for Baba Siddique's murder. A part of the post read, "Salman Khan, we did not want this war but you made our brother lose his life. Today the pool of decency of Baba Siddique is closed or at one time he was under MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) with Dawood. The reason for his death was his links to Dawood and Anuj Thapan in Bollywood, politics, and property dealings."

"If anyone gets any of our brothers killed, we will respond. We never strike first. Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat, salute to the martyrs", the post further read.

Baba Siddique's son Zeeshan wrote on his X, "Namaz E Janaza - Today *13th October, Sunday at 7 pm* after Magrib Namaz at Maqba Heights, 15 A, Pali Road, Pali Naka, Bandra(W). Burial - Today *13th October, Sunday at 8:30 pm* at Bada Kabarastan, Opp Marine Lines Station."

Meanwhile, after the news broke, apart from Salman Khan, celebrities such as Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, and others were seen visiting the Lilavati Hospital.
