Ayushmann Khurrana's Thama to Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 3: Maddock updates Supernatural Universe release dates | Find out

Maddock has just given us a glimpse into their slate, and it's going to be a dual dhamaka from them every year from now. Starting with Ayushmann Khurrana's Thama, there's a lot planned till Doosara Mahayudh. What's more? They have shared an update on Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 3 as well! Here's everything you need to know...

Thama and Shakti Shalini - 2025 release

The wait to see Ayushmann Khurrana in the role of a vampire is about to come to an end. 2025 is here, and Maddock has confirmed that Thama will be their next from the Supernatural Universe. The film, helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui along with Paresh Rawal, will be out on Diwali in 2025. This means it could release either on October 18 or October 24, if going by the conventional method of releasing movies on a Friday.

Remember the movie that Kiara Advani was in talks with? Titled Devi back then, reports suggest it is now Shakti Shalini and the latest entrant on the list with another. This film is also scheduled for 2025 release, but on December 31.

Bhediya 2 and Chamunda – 2026 release

The slate gets slightly bigger in 2026, since Shakti Shalini almost releases in 2026. And yes, Varun Dhawan-Kriti Sanon's Bhediya 2 will make it to theatres before Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 3. Bhediya has opted to release around Independence Day and will be out on August 14 instead of 15.

If 2026 begins with Kiara Advani, Maddock wishes for it to end with Alia Bhatt. Her supernatural-thriller Chamunda is scheduled for December 4 release in 2026.

Stree 3 and Maha Munjya – 2027 release

You know that 2027 will be THE year because two much-awaited projects will release at the time. After a long wait of three years, Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 3 will be out on August 13 in 2027.

We would also get closure for Munjya, or a bigger mystery to solve, with Maha Munjya, releasing four months later on December 24, around Christmas.

2028 is the year for not one but dual Mahayudh!

Remember when Maddock hinted at many universe films coming together through Stree 2? They are coming together, and in installments! Currently called Mahayudh, they will release as Pehla Mahayudh and Doosara Mahayudh on August 11 and October 18 in 2028 itself! That might just be the grandest out of the slate so far!
