Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday starrer Dream Girl 2 gets a new release date

The new date for Dream Girl 2, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana, is June 23, 2023, instead of June 29. The makers of Dream Girl 2 announced the new date via a press release in order to avoid competing with the June 29 release of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's SatyaPrem Ki Katha.

Dream Girl 2 also stars Ananya Panday, Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, and Rajpal Yadav, in addition to Ayushmann Khurrana.

Earlier, in a statement, Ayushmann had said that he was super stoked about Dream Girl 2! This is his second outing with Balaji Motion Pictures, and he's thankful to Ektaa Kapoor that she has carried this franchise forward and made it bigger. The actor has found a friend in Raaj Shaandilyaa and it's exciting to team up with him again. Ananya Panday has been paired with him, and Ayushmann is looking forward to seeing the audience's reaction to their chemistry.

The actor had said before that he looked to Kishore Kumar for ideas for Dream Girl 2. He had said that since he started filming Dream Girl 2, he has been listening to the beautiful song Aake Seedhi Lagi Dil Pe by Kishore Da all the time. This song's male and female voices were perfectly done by the great singer-actor, who is also known for his great singing voice. It has given him a ton of inspiration.

Meanwhile, Ananya is thrilled to be a part of Dream Girl 2 and collaborate with the dream cast of Ektaa Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana.
