Celebrities are often subjected to trolling for more reasons than one. In the past, we've seen how celebrity couples like Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas, Arjun Kapoor-Malaika Arora, and others have received criticism for their age difference. Actress Avneet Kaur's upcoming Luv Ki Arrange Marriage, to be premiered on ZEE5, sends out a message that love is ageless. On a similar note, when OTTplay interviewed Avneet, the actress shared her take on celebrity couples receiving flak for their age gap.
In an exclusive interview with OTTplay, Avneet Kaur voiced her opinion and admitted that she had witnessed celebrity couples being judged for their age difference.
"I feel like we shouldn't (judge them) because it's their happiness that we are getting into. I think when it comes to somebody's happiness, you shouldn't have a judgemental point of view about that. If that person is happy, you just let them be happy. It is love and love sees no age, colour, or gender. When you fall in love, you completely sacrifice yourself for that person. It is such a beautiful feeling when you are in love," said Avneet.
The actress further mentioned we shouldn't be the ones to judge others on such things. Kaur believes it's their happiness and we shouldn't get involved in it. "Yes, we have seen it in the past. What I can say about it is that even if you do something great or the best of things, there are still be people who will be pulling you (down), and there will be people who will be spreading negativity in the comment section. All you can do is just avoid it and be happy. If you're happy, then just be happy."
Meanwhile, Avneet is gearing up for the release of Luv Ki Arrange Marriage with her co-star Sunny Singh. The actress will be seen as Ishika in the film while Sunny plays the character of Luv. Things take an unexpected turn when Luv's father (Annu Kapoor) develops romantic feelings for Ishika's mother (Supriya Pathak).
The film will premiere on June 14 on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium.
