Avatar: The Last Airbender is an American animated fantasy action TV series, created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko and produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio. It was aired on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008.
About Avatar: The Last Airbender
The series is centred around the journey of twelve-year-old Aang, the current Avatar and last survivor of his nation, the Air Nomads, along with his friends Katara, Sokka, and Toph, as they strive to end the Fire Nation's war against the other nations and defeat Fire Lord Ozai before he conquers the world.

Avatar: The Last Airbender also has a feature film, which was released in 2010. It starred Nicole Peltz, Noah Ringer, Jackson Rathbone, Dev Patel, Seychelle Gabriel, Summer Bishill, and Cliff Curtis.

Now the makers have come up with a live-action series on Avatar: The Last Airbender, which has 20 episodes. Recently Netflix has announced that the live-action series will release on 22nd February, 2024. The series stars Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio Tarbell, Ian Ousle, Dallas James Liu, Daniel Dae Kim, and Paul Sun-Hyung.
The live-action series was first announced in 2018, but due to the pandemic it got delayed and the makers started the production in 2021. For the unversed, Ian Ousle, who will be playing the role of Sokka, previously appeared in 13 Reasons Why as Robby Corman.
