The makers of Tovino Thomas’s next project have unveiled its motion poster and the first look of its lead actor. The film, titled Avaran, will see the Nadikar star play the protagonist.
According to the makers, the movie is touted as a romantic comedy drama with mass appeal and intriguing action sequences. The poster hints at the young star playing an ‘achayan’ role he has never played before. Further details about the filming and cast are yet to be revealed in the coming days. The motion poster was released through the social media pages of Mohanlal, Mammootty, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Manju Warrier.
Who are behind Tovino Thomas’ Avaran?
Under the Jinu Abraham Innovation banner, Avaran is produced by Jinu V Abraham and directed by Shilpa Alexander. The screenplay and story for Avaran are written by renowned Malayalam screenplay writer Benny P Nayarambalam.

Shameer Mohammad helms the editing work of the movie, while Jomon T John handles the cinematography. Jakes Bijoy is the composer of the original score and soundtracks. The art director is Shaji Naduvil, while Sameera Saneesh is in charge of the costume design division.
Tovino’s upcoming projects in 2024
Tovino’s latest film, Nadikar, received a mixed response following its theatrical release in May. The movie is all set to make its OTT debut on Netflix on June 21, according to reports.
Identity, the actor's other project, has a good chance of making its big screen debut over the Onam weekend. According to reports, the crime thriller is getting ready for a pan-Indian release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, among other languages. If that is the case, the movie will signal Tovino Thomas's major return to the pan-Indian market and could serve as the ideal prelude to the release of his highly anticipated film, Ajayante Randam Moshanam.
In the historical action film, Ajayante Randam Moshanam, he portrays three distinct characters. He had posted a few set stills and talked about the filming as a "larger-than-life experience".
