As per the recent updates, the young actress is set to play the role of Karen Smith, which was original played by Amanda Seyfried, in the new-age adaptation of the iconic teen comedy film. For the uninitiated, before stepping into Hollywood, Avantika Vandanapu had made a mark in the Telugu film industry with her endearing performances as a child actor.

Who is Avantika Vandanapu?
As per the reports, Avantika Vandanapu was born to Telugu parents in San Fransisco, California. Her parents originally hail from Hyderabad in Telangana. The young actress made her acting debut in 2006 with the Mahesh Babu-starrer Brahmotsavam.
