AV33: First look of Arun Vijay's much-awaited action flick will be released on this date

Expectations were riding high since Arun Vijay joined hands with his brother-in-law and director Hari. The project, which commenced a few months ago, has Priya Bhavani Shankar playing the female lead in it. Radhika Sarathkumar, Thalaivasal Vijay, Yogi Babu, KGF fame Ram, Ammu Abirami and Imman Annachi among others will be seen essaying pivotal roles in the movie, the shooting of which has been happening in Karaikudi, Thoothukudi, Palani, Rameswaram and Kumbakonam.

Filmmaker-lyricist Gangai Amaren is donning greasepaint again for the movie which will have music composed by GV Prakash. Gopinath handles cinematography for the film, which has been tentatively titled AV33. Antony is in charge of editing while Anl Arasu is at the helm of action sequences.

The makers have announced that the movie's first look will be revealed by Arya and Pa Ranjith on Thursday evening. However, looks like they have managed to rope in more celebs to do the honours. Regina Cassandra, Aishwarya Rajesh, Vedhika, Mahima Nambiar, Vikram Prabhu, Shanthnu, Atharvaa and Sibiraj will also be unveiling the project's first look at 6pm on September 9, apart from the hero and director of Sarpatta Parambarai. The movie brings together Hari and GV Prakash for the first time.

The project was earlier in the news when Arun Vijay suffered an injury while shooting for an action scene. He had posted a picture of him getting treated on the film's set. The movie also hit headlines when Samuthirakani replaced Prakash Raj after the latter informed the crew about his inability to join them after suffering a shoulder injury while shooting for another project in Hyderabad. Samuthirakani will be seen as Arun Vijay's brother in the film. Tipped as the biggest project in Arun's career, the untitled film is set against the backdrop of a village, and is said to have ample action scenes.
