Australian model, actress Chandrika Ravi roped in for a special number in #NBK107

Say whatever you can, but the trend of special dance numbers is here to stay in Telugu cinema. Nearly every big film in the recent times has had a popular dance number featuring a prominent name - Pushpa, Ghani, Bangarraju and recently F3. Now, reports confirm that #NBK107, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next with Gopichand Malineni, will also have a special dance number.

Earlier in the day, the makers of #NBK107 confirmed that Australian model and actress of Indian origin, Chandrika Ravi, is on board for this special number. The peppy dance number is currently being filmed in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad in a specially erected set. Sekhar master is choreographing the foot-tapping number composed by Thaman, that promises to be a feast for the masses.

Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in #NBK107, while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is cast in a key role. Duniya Vijay is making his Telugu debut with the project as well. Leading production house, Mythri Movie Makers, is backing the film (Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni). Rishi Punjabi cranks the camera while AS Prakash is the production designer. Navin Nooli is the editor and Sai Madhav Burra pens the dialogue.

Stunt director duo Ram-Lakshman choreographs the action sequences in #NBK107, which is expected to release later this year. Chandu Ravipati is the executive producer. Balakrishna’s earlier film, Akhanda, directed by Boyapati Srinu, was a major success at the box office. The actioner is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
