John Abraham’s super soldier is gearing up to take OTT by storm. Attack: Part 1 will arrive on a popular OTT platform this month.
What is Attack: Part 1 about?
Attack: Part 1 follows the story of Arjun Shergill, an army officer who becomes paralysed in the aftermath of a terrorist attack. After some devastating losses, he is implanted with a specially designed chip that helps him regain the use of his limbs and transforms him into a super soldier. He is then tasked with taking up dangerous missions for the protection of the country.
Who are the cast and crew behind Attack: Part 1?
John Abraham stars as Arjun Shergill, while Rakul Preet Singh essays the role of Sabaha, the scientist who designed the chip. Jacqueline Fernandez stars as Ayesha, Arjun’s love interest. The film also features Prakash Raj, Ratna Pathak Shah and Elham Ehsaas in pivotal roles.
Abraham has conceptualised the film’s story and Lakshya Raj Anand has directed the movie. The movie is bankrolled by Abraham's JA Entertainment, Pen Studios and Ajay Kapoor's Kyta Productions.
In a statement, Abraham had called Attack a film that is ‘one-of-a-kind’ and ‘special’ to him. “It is an authentic story from our homeland and at par with the globe’s best action films”, the actor added. Director Lakshya Raj Anand had talked about how the film was ‘made with a lot of heart, blood, sweat and tears’. The filmmaker hoped that the film would reach more people and entertain them after its digital premiere.
When and where to watch Attack: Part 1 on OTT?
Attack: Part 1 was released in theatres on April 1. The film will be available for streaming on ZEE5 from May 27 onwards.
