Bollywood actor John Abraham is excited to bring his latest offering Attack to the audiences on April 1. The actor, who has been a part of several successful films like Force, Satyamev Jayate, Parmanu among others, will be seen performing high-ocatane action sequences in the avatar of a super soldier.
While the Batla House actor has been neck deep in promotions for his films, urging the audiences to give it an opportunity at the ticket windows, the movie is likely to face stiff competition from the raging storm of SS Rajamouli's RRR that released in theatres across the country last Friday. Not to forget, Vivek Agnihotri's directorial The Kashmir Files too has been going pretty strong even after about three weeks of its release.
A report on the IndianExpress.com suggests that the film is likely to open in the range of Rs 4 to 5 crore at the box office on day one. Film business analyst Girish Johar told the publication that John has his own loyal audience and people want to watch his movies. The actor has a good track record and has a knack for picking the right kind of stories that resonate with the people.
Johar was quoted as saying by the portal, "Since RRR is a commercial action film and John’s film is also a sleek action entertainer, competition is inevitable." However, he doesn't think that The Kashmir Files will pose much threat to Attack as the film is now in its fourth week and can be a choice for some cinegoers in a few multiplexes but it's not likely to be a major competition for Attack.
Meanwhile, the trailer of the film has been received well by the fans and the film's cast including Rakul Preet Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez and director Lakshya Raj Anand have been busy promoting the film. The actor will be seen performing some mid-blowing action sequences in the film and his fans do like to see him in an action avatar.
Post Attack, John Abraham will head to complete his remaining portions for Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan, which is slated to hit the theatres on January 25, 2023.
