Atlee created history when he collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan on his first Bollywood film - Jawan. The film became a 2023 blockbuster and was loved by the audience. Now, the filmmaker is all set to bring two superstars together for his next pan-India film and we can't keep calm! He is set to bring South superstar Rajinikanth as well as Bollywood superstar Salman Khan together on the big screens.
Atlee to direct Salman Khan and Superstar Rajinikanth in the biggest Pan-India film
As per the recent reports by Bollywood Hungama, Atlee is in talks with both the actors and is trying to get them together on board. The report also reveals that a meeting between the filmmaker, Rajinikanth, and Salman will take place next month. "Sun Pictures will be producing the film and they share a family-like bond with superstar Rajinikanth. Atlee, on the other hand, has been in touch with Salman Khan for the last two years. They are confident to get both Rajinikanth and Salman Khan on board," a trade source told the portal.
If everything goes according the plan and if both the actors come on board for this mega pan-India project, the film will go on the floors by the end of the year. Salman Khan, who is currently busy with Sikander, and Rajinikanth, who is finishing his film Coolie will come together to film this project after finishing their prior commitments. "It is a combination to be remembered for generations" the trade source informed.

For the uninitiated, there were reports of Atlee joining hands with Allu Arjun for his next. After Jawan, the filmmaker was supposed to rope in Allu for the film but when he did not get the actor's approval, he pitched a new idea to Salman Khan which he approved and liked.
