Atlee says his next A6 with Salman Khan will be 'proudest film of our country'; confirms 'Best announcement coming soon...'

After teaming up with Shah Rukh Khan for Jawan, ace filmmaker Atlee is now all set to work with Salman Khan. Their joint appearances during the Ambani wedding this year left the fans super excited. Tentatively titled A6, Atlee is trying to get Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan for the biggest film in Indian Cinema. Atlee reacts to his next with Salman Khan

Atlee is currently busy promoting his first production, Baby John with Varun Dhawan and the entire team. Amid busy promotions, he spilled the beans on his next directorial. While speaking to Pinkvilla, Atlee said that he was almost done with the script and that a big announcement would take place soon. He said, "A6 is something that consumes a lot of time and energy. We have almost finished the script and we are in the prep stage. Soon, a bang-on announcement will happen with god’s blessing."

On being asked if the film will be led by Salman, the director subtly confirmed and said that 'it’s going to be the proudest film of our country'. He added, "Definitely, I am going to surprise everyone with the casting. What you are thinking, yes (that’s true). But you are going to really get surprised. And am not being pompous, but it’s going to be the proudest film of our country. We want a lot of blessings, just pray for us. The casting is on the edge and it’s going to happen in a few weeks. We will have the best best best announcement coming soon to you all."

Varun Dhawan expresses excitement over Salman Khan and Atlee's A6

During the same interview, Varun expressed his excitement over Atlee's next with Salman. He was all praise for the director. Varun said that the film is going to be out of this world and people will be in for a treat. Further, he went on to say that he has heard and seen a little bit of visualization, and it is unbelievable. In the end, he said that Atlee is working "relentlessly, quietly, and humbly."

Meanwhile, Varun is all set to be seen in Baby John with Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff. The trailer was launched recently and it was quite impressive. Directed by Kalees, the film will hit theatres on Christmas 2024.
