Filmmaker Atlee on Wednesday expressed gratitude for the opportunity to direct Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan. He noted that working with SRK was a dream come true moment for him, adding that this movie has elevated his skills to another level. 

"From reading tales of kings to embarking on a journey with one in real, #Chief I guess I’m living the dream I’ve always dreamt of. Thank you so much This film pushed me to my limits, where I gained invaluable lessons along the way. Your passion towards cinema and the amount of hard work you’ve put in, which I witnessed closely in the last 3 years are inspiring and riveting… Yeh toh bas shuruaat hai Sir. Love you sir. Thanking you once again for this great opportunity on behalf of the entire team. God is very kind to me!! Thank you everyone," Atlee tweeted. 

Atlee's latest tweet was in response to SRK's praise for him. 'King Khan' heaped appreciation on the young filmmaker and expressed his affection to him and his family. "Sirrrrrr!!! Maaasssssss!! Your are da man!!!! Thank u for everything and making sure the A K Meer gave his inputs along with Priya!! Love u all," SRK tweeted.

It seems that SRK is overjoyed by the overwhelmingly positive reactions that the prevue of Jawan received earlier this week. The much-awaited teaser was unveiled on Monday. And soon after its launch, the teaser took the internet by storm. Many hailed the teaser as one of the best-edited teasers they have seen in a long time. 

Jawan prevue gave a glimpse of what Atlee has in store for the fans of SRK. The teaser was a big treat for fans as they got to watch different shows of SRK. 

Besides SRK, the film also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. The film is due in cinemas on September 7.
