Venu Tottempudi was one of the popular stars in the early 2000s in Telugu cinema. He took a break from films in 2013 and made a comeback in 2022 with the Ravi Teja-starrer Rama Rao on Duty.
In 2023, he made his OTT debut with the horror thriller Athidhi which is now streaming on Hotstar. This show gave him a new lease of life as Venu is back in business and has signed a few projects for OTT.
We at OTTplay have come to know that Venu Tottempudi has signed two projects in the digital space. One of them is for Hotstar and the other is for Aha, the popular Telugu OTT platform. Venu impressed everyone with his performance in Athidhi and this has given him a new lease of life in his career.
The news is also that Venu has also signed multiple films that will be released next year. He will be playing important characters in these films and says he has no issues playing negative roles as well. Only the character he plays needs to create an impact, adds Venu.
The popular actor was known for his comedy timing in all his films and his dark roles show his versatility. On the other hand, Hotstar is ready with some new Telugu projects that will star popular actors in Telugu cinema.
