Atharva: Here's the first look of Ayraa from the Karthik Raju, Simran Choudhary starrer

Atharva is a crime thriller in the making featuring Karthik Raju as the male lead. The film, written and directed by Mahesh Reddy, is bankrolled by Subhash Nuthalapati under Peggo Entertainments. Simran Choudhary and Ayraa play the leading ladies in the thriller that also stars Arvind Krishna and Kabir Singh Duhan in meaty characters. As part of the ongoing promotional campaign in the lead up to its release, the makers unveiled the first look of Ayraa today.

The makers insist that Ayraa will be seen in a significant role in the film. She's cast as a vivacious girl bursting with enthusiasm in Atharva and in her first look, she dons a ghagra choli, sporting a radiant smile. While Atharva is being promoted as a thriller, there's enough in it to appeal to audiences with different tastes too with elements of humour, romance and other emotions. The team plans to release the film in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages.

Reports suggest that the male lead Karthik Raju essays the role of a biometric analyst in the film. Nuthalapati Narasimham and Anasuyamma are the presenters of the film while Vijaya and Jhansi are the executive producers. Kalpika Ganesh, Vijay Rama Raju, Gagan Vihari, Ram Mittakanti, Kiran Macha, Marimuthu and Anand are also part of the supporting cast. Sricharan Pakala, on a high after the successes of DJ Tillu, Major, scores the music for the same. Charan Madhavaneni is the cinematographer.

SB Uddhav and Raam Kumar are the editor and the art director of the film respectively. Kasarla Shyam and Kittu Vissapragada are the lyric writers. The first-look posters of the other leads of Atharva received positive feedback from audiences. The team is yet to announce the release date. Simran Choudhary was also seen in a delightful romantic comedy Sehari earlier this year. The film is now streaming on aha.
