Asin quashes divorce rumours after deleting photos with husband Rahul Sharma; reveals holidaying together

On Tuesday, the Internet did the talking about separation rumours between former actor Asin Thottumkal and her entrepreneur husband, Rahul Sharma. The rumours sparked after she deleted all photos with him on her Instagram page, including the wedding moments. However, Asin has now taken to her Instagram story to set the record straight: Rahul and she are holidaying together right now, and divorce is definitely not on!

She wrote, "In the middle of our summer holiday right now, literally sitting across each other enjoying our breakfast, we came across some very imaginative and utterly baseless 'NEWS.'"

Talking about the earlier rumours before their wedding, Asin added, "It reminds me of the time we were sitting at home together with our families, planning our wedding, and we heard that we had broken up. Seriously? Please do better."

She concluded by writing, "I am disappointed to have wasted five minutes of an otherwise wonderful holiday on this! Have a great day, you guys."

Asin and Rahul Sharma, the co-founder of Micromax, got married in January 2016 in a Christian ceremony and then according to Hindu rituals. On October 24, 2017, they had their first child, a daughter they named Arin.

Asin's last movie was All Is Well, in which she was paired opposite Abhishek A. Bachchan. After being a popular face down South, the actor made her Bollywood debut with Ghajini, opposite Aamir Khan, in which she reprised her role from the Tamil original film of the same name.

Since then, she has appeared in a series of Hindi films, including London Dreams, Ready, Housefull 2, Bol Bachchan, and Khiladi 786.

Her hit Tamil films are M. Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi, Ghajini, Pokkiri, Vel, Dasavathaaram, and Kaavalan, to name a few.
