Ashwin Babu's next after Hidimba is a medical thriller; here's all you need to know

Ashwin Babu, who made a name for himself with the horror-comedy series Raju Gari Gadhi, will be next seen in the action entertainer Hidimba in theatres. The glimpses from the film hint how much he's transformed himself for the project with his toned physique. While the film's release date is yet to be announced officially, the actor has confirmed his next project. The untitled film will be a medical thriller, written and directed by a debutant MR Krishna.

The film was officially announced by popular producer DSR, who had bankrolled several projects like Pilla Zamindar, Drona, Kalavar King, Kodi Punju, Mister Nookayya under Sri Sailendra Movies (associating with Dammalapati Krishna Rao). Hari Gowra will compose the music while Ram-Lakshman handle stunt choreography. Chandu and Venkat are the co-producers of the film whose executive producer is Thota Ramesh.

The makers promise a unique new-age plot in the film and will announce other details regarding the cast and crew soon. In addition, DSR will join hands with Suresh Movies film distributors for a series of projects with a top-notch technical team. Ashwin Babu, in the past, was also part of films like Genius, Jatha Kalisey and Nanna Nenu Naa Boyfriends. He would hope to begin 2023 on a positive note with Hidimba.
