Ashutosh Rana to reprise his War role in Shah Rukh Khan- Deepika Padukone starrer Pathan

Ever since the shooting of the upcoming flick, Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone starrer Pathan was announced, it has been the talk of the town. Photos of SRK and Deepika also added to the buzz. Amid that, according to the newest report by Pinkvilla, the makers have recruited another addition, which is none other than the talented actor Ashutosh Rana.

According to the reports, it is said that Rana will be reprising his role as RAW joint secretary Colonel Sunil Luthra from the Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War (2019). As per a report in Mid Day, filmmakers of Pathan, producer Aditya Chopra and director Siddharth Anand came up with the idea to have Ashutosh from War reprise his role in Pathan as well. It seems Rana shot certain important scenes with King Khan and Dimple Kapadia at YRF Studios a couple of days ago. The report also claimed that Aditya intends to have both Ashutosh and Dimple in roles of senior intelligence officers in his espionage universe of films

Reportedly Salman Khan is also expected to be seen in a cameo appearance as Tiger in Pathan with SRK. With Rana’s entry, another spy movie under the banner of YRF, War, will also get connected with Pathan.

Fans are super thrilled to see Shah Rukh’s return to the screen after a hiatus of nearly three years. The superstar was last seen in Zero with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma almost two years ago.

Talking about Pathan, the film features John as the main antagonist and marks his first onscreen outing with SRK.
