Ashok Selvan to tie the knot with his Blue Star co-actor Keerthi Pandian on THIS date?

If the buzz on social media is to go by, Ashok Selvan is to tie the knot with Keerthi Pandian. Keerthi and Ashok are currently part of Blue Star, a film based on sports, which is bankrolled by Pa Ranjith. OTTplay reached out to Ashok Selvan for confirmation, but the actor didn't respond to our query. Keerthi Pandian is the daughter of veteran actor and producer Arun Pandian.

We hear that the actors will tie the knot at a temple in Tirunelveli, which is said to be Keerthi's hometown in September. The wedding is said to be a private affair with only close friends and family in attendance.

Blue Star is written and directed by first-time director S Jayakumar, who is a former assistant of Pa Ranjith. While Ashokselvan and Shanthnu Bhagyaraj play the lead, the cast also comprises Prithvi Pandiarajan, Keerthi Pandian and Divya Duraisamy. A press statement sent earlier revealed that the film will celebrate friendship and the emotional bond towards cricket in small towns.

Talking to OTTplay, Ashok Selvan had earlier told us, "Blue Star is a sports drama set in Arakkonam. We have had many films on sports like Chennai 600028, but there are barely any films set in a small town or village. Here, the action happens in Arakkonam. The shoot has been wrapped up and it was great fun working in it. I felt quite different acting in the film as if I was taken back to the '90s."

His latest crime thriller Por Thozhil, which dropped on SonyLIV, has opened to rave reviews after its OTT release as well. The film, which stars Sarathkumar and Ashok Selvan in the lead, revolves around an investigation on a serial killing. While Sarathkumar plays an expert cop, Ashok Selvan plays a novice.
