Actor Ashok Selvan, who was last seen in Tamil romantic comedy Pon Ondru Kanden, had dropped a hint a while ago on social media that he joined the cast of Thug Life. However, an official announcement in this regard is yet to be made.

Now, OTTplay exclusively has learnt that the actor has come on board the project. A source, on condition of anonymity, said that the actor has been cast in Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan’s most anticipated upcoming film Thug Life. Ashok Selvan will be marking his collaboration with both the legends for the first time with Thug Life. In all likelihood, Ashok Selvan will be replacing Jayam Ravi who was earlier cast in the film.

Jayam Ravi and Dulquer Salmaan were initially on board the film but had to later walk out due to scheduling conflicts. While Silambarasan replaced Dulquer Salmaan, Ashok Selvan will be playing the role that Jayam Ravi was assigned.
