NVR is the cinematographer and the director of the film

Roja Poolu, Okariki Okaru fame Sriram and Sanchita Padukone are pairing up for a film titled Asalem Jaridindi. Myneni Neelima Choudary and King Johnson Koyyada have produced the film under Exodus Media. NVR has directed the film besides cranking the camera. The makers have confirmed the film's theatrical release on October 22. The film is a horror thriller based on a few real incidents that took place in Telangana recently. The team is confident that the innovative storytelling would appeal to audiences and keep them hooked to the screens.
"The film is based on a novel concept and will revolve around a person's fight with a supernatural force. Asalem Jarigindi has all the ingredients to make for a proper commercial entertainer and still provide a new viewing experience for audiences. We didn't want to compromise on the theatrical release at any cost. The film will now release in both the Telugu states on October 22. We're sure about our effort and its ability to draw audiences to theatres," the producers said in an interaction with the media.
Ravi Kumar also essays a key role in Asalem Jarigindi. Yelandhar Mahaveer has composed the music for the horror thriller while Chinna was roped in for the background score. Editor Maddali Kishore, art director Vijay Krishna, choreographers Eshwar and Hari are among other crew members who worked on the film. Sriram's last release in Telugu was Y, where he played the role of a notorious film director Raghuram, and shared screen space with Rahul Ramakrishna.
