As LGM awaits release, HERE's what Thala Dhoni said after watching his maiden film - Exclusive

Ace cricketer MS Dhoni's maiden venture in films, LGM is all set to hit screens on July 28 and the team has begun the promotions. The film is bankrolled under the banner of Dhoni Entertainment, with MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni at the helm of affairs. Now the latest we hear is that Thala Dhoni is mighty impressed with the way LGM has turned out.

 Talking about the same, a spokesperson from Dhoni Entertainment said, "Thala Dhoni really enjoyed LGM. He watched the film recently and found it to be a clean film that one could watch with their children and elders in the family. It is a fun-filled entertaining film. Though it was Mrs Dhoni's concept, Thala was the one who told us that we start our maiden production with a Tamil film, due to his love for the people here and their love for him."

The film stars Harish Kalyan, Nadiya Moidu and Ivana in the lead and is directed by Ramesh Thamilmani, who had earlier made the new age graphic novel, Atharva The Original, featuring Dhoni as a superhero. He has also composed the music. While the cinematography is by Viswajith Odukkathil, editing is by Pradeep E Ragav.

 When asked if Dhoni was engaged in the filmmaking in one way or the other, the spokesperson said, "Yes, There was involvement. He gave a lot of insights into how family and relationships should be. Of course, the filming progressed with the team and director. He was very particular that everyone had good food to eat as he wanted the cast and crew to come to the sets happily. He is someone who strongly believes that one should be happy working on the set. Everyone knows how Thala Dhoni is involved in the process. This was one of the reasons that we wrapped the shoot in a span of 37 days, which was quite fast."
