Gaami is now streaming on Zee5 and has clocked record views already. Chandini Chowdary is making a comeback after a long break and getting a breather in her career with the success of Gaami. Speaking in an interview, Chandini says that she always wanted to be part of a film that pushed boundaries, but she never got that chance. But when the offer of Gaami came to her, she grabbed it with both hands.

Chandini also adds that she did not understand the basic story of the film in the first go. "Only when I read the story thrice did I understand the basic story of the film," says Chandini. Chandini plays a doctor in the film and has undergone some of the toughest times to shoot for the film. As the team was shooting in an extremely cold climate, she could not use the restroom for hours together.

She experienced many crazy circumstances when she doubted whether she would come out alive from such cold conditions in Kashmir. Her performance is also being appreciated in Gaami, which has been directed by Vidyadhar Kagita. Zee5 spent a decent amount on the OTT rights to the film and has benefited big time from the fantasy drama.

Vishwak Sen plays the main lead in this film, and he did not charge a single rupee as his fee. Only when the film ended as a massive hit at the box office he took his share. Gaami was made on a budget of Rs 2 crore and made Rs 14 at the box office and ended as a massive hit.

Abdul Samad and Tejaswi played key roles in Gaami, which is about an Aghora who has touch issues. He embarks on a journey to the Himalayas and brings back a special plant to cure himself. How he does all this is the basic story of Gaami, and the film is now streaming on Zee5.
