Arya, Raashii Khanna's horror comedy Aranmanai 3 to be dubbed into Telugu as Anthahpuram

Aranmanai 3, the Tamil horror comedy directed by Sundar C, that hit theatres on October 14, is now getting a Telugu release. The film starring Arya, Raashii Khanna in the lead roles is titled Anthahpuram (a loose translation of Aranmanai) in Telugu. Anthahpuram also stars Vivekh, Andrea Jeremiah, Sampath, Manobala, Yogi Babu, Vela Ramamoorthy, Sakshi Agarwal and Nalini in key roles and is slated to hit theatres on December 31. Ganga Entertainments, that's distributing the film, confirmed the news through a social media post.

Thank you @RedGiantMovies_ for all the support!," the tweet by Ganga Entertainments read, as they shared the poster of Anthahpuram in the backdrop of a haunted mansion. UK Senthil Kumar has cranked the camera for the film that has music by C Sathya.

The story of Anthahpuram is about a spirit of a dead girl that haunts several family members residing in a massive bungalow. They take help from a temple priest, who claims to have powers to tame the ghost. Will he discover the true motive behind the spirit? What's the backstory of the girl? Is the life of a family member at risk? Where is the tale headed? The audience needs to find out on December 31.

Red Giant Movies, the production house owned by actor, producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, had distributed the Tamil film. Despite earning negative reviews all over, Aranmanai 3 turned out to be a surprise hit during the festive season in Tamil Nadu. Will the success story repeat in the Telugu version as well? Arya, Raashii Khanna and Andreah are familar faces in the Telugu land as well and do have the potential to draw crowds to theatres. The film is among the last few on-screen appearances of late comedian Vivekh.
