Jaadugar starring Jitendra Kumar in the lead role and Javed Jaffrey in the supporting role released on Netflix earlier this month. Arushi Sharma, who plays the leading lady in the movie, has now opened up about her experience on working in Jaadugar and how it will be helpful for her upcoming project.

“I am fairly new, so, I never understood how actors cry on screen. I feel 'Jaadugar' taught me to bring out the emotional aspect [to the fore]. I believe it will help me in my next project too,” Arushi said, as reported by Mid Day.

The actor also talked about her co-star Jitendra Kumar, saying that he is brilliant, humble and rooted and that he brings realness to the screen. Talking about the same, she added that he is supportive as a co-star and would often give her time to prepare for scenes.

The actor is currently working on Kaalapani, and has already completed the movie’s first schedule. While she did not reveal details about the project, she said that she feels the industry works in favour of people who work hard and never gives up.

Having made her acting debut in the 2015 movie Tamasha, Arushi returned to the big screen five years later in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal. She was called back by the makers of Jaadugar for the audition, after which she bagged the role.

Written by Biswapati Sarkar and directed by Sameer Saxena, the sports comedy romance is set in a football loving town, where the protagonist wants to become a successful magician. Having received mixed reviews from critics following its release, Jaadugar is now available to stream on Netfllix.
