Arun Vijay's Mission Chapter 1 team drops latest update on film's release date

It looks like Arun Vijay's upcoming film, Mission Chapter 1, which is helmed by Vijay, is all set to drop in theatres soon. The team recently dropped the announcement about the release date and said that the film is coming soon to movie halls. Along with the announcement, the team dropped a sneak peek into the making of the film.

Taking to his social media handle, Arun Vijay wrote, "Brace yourself for my next with Director #Vijay, #Mission - Chapter 1 with mind-blowing, breathtaking stunts and an unforgettable cinematic experience releasing soon worldwide in theaters #MissionChapter1 A @gvprakash Musical (sic)."

The sneak peek shows Arun Vijay performing some heavy-duty stunts, which includes a fight sequence with fire burning in the backdrop and another scene in which the supporting cast form a pyramid and then fall down like a pack of flies. It looks like the team sure has invested some serious time and energy for the action sequences.

Arun Vijay had recently dropped pictures from the dubbing studio and had revealed that he was giving the final touches to the film. He had captioned the picture, "Giving the final touches before censorship for #Mission - Chapter 1 #DirVijay @iamAmyJackson @gvprakash @LycaProductions Prod Rajashekar .. Gearing up for release (sic)!!"

The film is set in London and marks the comeback of British actress Amy Jackson to Tamil cinema. Popular Malayalam actress Nimisha Sajayan, who played the lead in The Great Indian Kitchen, plays the other leading lady. The film was initially titled Achcham Enbathu Illaye but after Lyca Productions acquired the rights of the film, the film underwent a title change.

Music for the film is by GV Prakash Kumar. While Sandeep K Vijay has handled the cinematography, Anthony is handling the editing. A Mahadev has penned the screenplay and dialogues are by director Vijay himself.
