Article 370: Yami Gautam shines with utter conviction in this enthralling and riveting teaser

As committed yesterday, Yami Gautam took to social media and posted the teaser of her upcoming film ‘Article 370’. The teaser starts off with a few shots mirroring the serene beauty of Kashmir, which gets (rightfully) referred to as ‘India’s Crowning Glory’. This is followed by a few extremely horrific shots of revolt, and agitation with ‘terrorism’, ‘corruption’ and ‘separatism’ seeped in between! Post this, comes an extremely strong statement which states, “Kashmir mein terrorism ek dhandha hai. (In Kashmir, terrorism is a business). It has nothing to do with aazaadi, but it has everything to do with money”.

Article 370's teaser is definitley gripping!

The teaser is then taken to the introduction of Yami Gautam’s character, who reveals that out of 29 states, Kashmir receives the maximum funding from the central government to maintain peace and order, but, the politicians and bureaucrats have been exploiting Kashmir’s conflict driven economy. Yami Gautam looks extremely convincing in the role of a dynamic officer safeguarding the law.

The film, which is a political cum action drama, has been inspired by true events and mirrors the various situations and circumstances that arose in the gigantic task of rendering Article 370 ineffective. The teaser's background music works wonders in making it a gripping watch.

Netizens just cannot stop praising Yami Gautam in the film's teaser

No sooner had the film’s teaser been released on social media, there were many who took to the comments section and applauded the film’s topic and the makers for having chosen ‘Article 370’ to be made into a film. One user wrote, “So glad to see Yami Gautam getting the kind of recognition she deserves' '. There was another netizen who wrote, “Get Ready for Witnesses This is the True Reality of India Again Box office No Shattering by Audiences can't wait”.

There were many users who just could not get over Yami Gautam’s performance in the teaser One could find compliments like ‘Totally Nailed it Performance’, ‘so awesome’, ‘Mind blowing’ and others being written about while praising her character in the teaser. 

Besides Yami Gautam, the film also stars an ensemble cast including Priyamani, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Koul, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Arun Govil, Kiran Karmarkar, Divya Seth, Raj Zutshi and Irawati Harshe in all-important roles. The film has been directed by the National Award-winner Aditya Suhas Jambhale and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar. The film has been scheduled for a theatrical release on 23rd February 2024.
