Yami Gautam and Priyamani are currently gearing up for the release of their film, Article 370. The film has been directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale whereas it has been produced by Yami's husband Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar, and Jyoti Deshpande. Plot overview

Article 370, headlined by Yami Gautam, has been generating a lot of buzz since the film's trailer was released. The movie has been majorly shot in Kashmir and the storyline revolves around the abrogation of Article 370. The official trailer of Article 370 was released on February 8, 2024.

Who plays what in Article 370?

In this film, Yami plays the role of an intelligence officer, Zooni. Priyamani, on the other hand, works at the desk as Rajeshwari Swaminathan. As for Arun Govil, he plays the role of a Prime Minister whereas Kiran Karmarkar essays the part of Home Minister. Vaibhav Tatwawadi will be seen as Yash Chouhan in the film. Besides them, Ashwini Koul and Raj Arjun will be playing the characters of Zakir Naikoo and Khawar Ali.

Meanwhile, in an interview with PTI, Yami Gautam stated that there's no point justifying Article 370 to the people who feel the film has propaganda. "If someone is calling it names… like ‘propaganda’, ‘jingoism’, and ‘chest-thumping’… Any section that goes into theatres already thinking or carrying a preconceived notion that this is what it’s about, you’ll never be able to feel or enjoy the film," she said.
