Are the Kadhalan and Minsara Kanavu duo back for a dream collaboration once again? Yes, it's true! Musical maestro AR Rahman and dance legend Prabhudeva have joined forces for an exciting new Tamil project. The makers took to their social media pages to announce the new film through a unique poster that has everyone excited. Their movie has been tentatively titled ARRPD 6.
Exciting new poster for AR Rahman and Prabhudeva's film
The new poster features a silhouette of AR Rahman with Prabhudeva in his signature dance pose, sans his body. The poster will instantly remind you of the composer-choreographer duo’s iconic collaborations in films such as Kadhalan, Gentleman and Minsara Kanavu.
What has fans most excited is that Rahman and Prabhudeva are collaborating on a project after a long hiatus of 25 years. They had worked together on AR Rahman’s song Kay Sera Sera from the 2000 film Pukar.
Two Malayalam stars have been roped into the project?
Another update from this exciting project is that two Malayalam actors, Arjun Ashokan and Aju Varghese, will be playing pivotal roles. Although their characters have not been revealed, ARRPD 6 will be the Tamil film debut of both the young Malayalam talents. Apart from them, the film will also star Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsly, Mottai Rajendran, Singampuli, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, TSR Srinivasan, and CWC Deepa.

At this point, going by the poster and Prabhudeva’s pose on it, we can guess that the film will be based on a dancer. More information about the film is yet to be revealed by the makers.
AR Rahman and Prabhudeva’s other projects
Meanwhile, choreographer-actor Prabhudeva is currently busy shooting for a handful of projects. He has a pivotal role in Vijay's The Greatest of All Time. The actor also has Jolly O Gymkhana and Petta Rap in his kitty.
On the other hand, Rahman is currently busy promoting the eagerly awaited Malayalam survival drama Aadujeevitham that has Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role.
