BTS' Jeon Jungkook has become a focal point of attention with the release of his solo album 'Golden'. The global sensation, who is now hailed as the 'King of Pop', has earned accolades from India's Prince of Pop, Armaan Malik. The Indian singer-songwriter, known for his admiration of the South Korean boy band Bangtan Boys, lauded Jungkook's full-English album.
Armaan Malik expressed on X (formerly known as Twitter) and said, "#Jungkook’s vocals have been waiting for an album like this to unleash. I can hear the fun of doing this project, in his voice. It always feels amazing to hear a vocalist find their true zone and truly exploit all facets of their musicality. album’s on (repeat emoji)." He even shared the Spotify link to Jungkook's album.
Responding to a comment under the same post, where a fan discussed the absence of a theme in "Golden," Armaan Malik stated, "album’s aren’t always about a theme or for storytelling. Sometimes it’s an outlet for the artist to express themselves musically."
In 2022, Armaan Malik previously expressed his admiration for BTS during a live chat on X. When asked about his favourite singers from the group, Malik replied, "J Hope and Jungkook #FridaysWithArmaan."
Meanwhile, BTS members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook have embarked on solo projects while on hiatus to fulfil their mandatory military services. With Jin, J-hope, and Suga currently in the military, the remaining four members are set to enlist in the coming days, with the collective goal of reuniting as a group in 2025.
