Arjun Rampal is gearing up for the release of Dhaakad, which is headlined by Kangana Ranaut. During a recent interaction, the actor began by saying that he is deeply satisfied with what he has done. In Razneesh Ghai's film, the actor plays the menacing Rudraveer, the antagonist of Kangana's Agent Agni. According to Rampal, the spy thriller is the start of a purposeful shift in his project choices.

The actor told Mid Day that he liked the director's vibe. Friendship is crucial to making the movie better than they imagined. From the superb camera work to the styling to the scope of the action, the film nails it all. Another crucial factor in his decision was that it was a female-driven film. We have seen plenty of males in action. But when was the last time you saw a woman do it? This is a rare opportunity for a female actor.

Leading males rarely move aside to allow their female counterparts to be the centre of attention. Rampal, on the other hand, seems at ease in his own skin. After Dhaakad, he'll star alongside Konkona Sensharma in The Rapist, a story about a woman. His choices are impacted by his desire to raise his daughters, Mahikaa and Myra, in a gender-neutral atmosphere.

As a father of two children and a male actor, Rampal wants to make this industry more welcoming to women. If and when his children chose to appear in films, he would like it if male actors supported them. In addition, the actor's mother, Gwen, was his rock. She went to great lengths for him. Dil Hai Tumhara [2002], which was more Preity Zinta's film than his, and Tehzeeb [2003], led by Urmila Matondkar, are two of the women-oriented films he has worked on. In Bollywood, there was a time when women didn't have a voice. It is his job to support films like Dhaakad.

The actor claims that he is now working on films that speak to him. Rampal is not trying to impress anyone or make a point. Now he wants to work on characters that he enjoys, and he is happier as a result.
