Arjun Kapoor on Kuttey: I waited 12 years to work with Vishal Bhardwaj

Actor Arjun Kapoor is quite excited about his upcoming film Kuttey in which he got a chance to work with some iconic actors. The film stars Tabu, Naseeruddin Shah, Konkona Sensharma, Kumud Mishra, Radhika Madan and Shardul Bhardwaj among others. Arjun also realised his 12-year-long dream of working with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj.

Talking about why the film is special for him, Arjun said, "I remember going to Vishal sir's office 12 years ago, showing my photographs and telling him, 'Sir, I know you will not cast me as an actor now, but I am ready to work in your production house'. It was my dream to work with him for the last 12 years and finally, my dream has come true thanks to his son, Aasmaan Bhardwaj."

Thanking the debutant director, Arjun expressed his gratitude for working with iconic actors who are part of the ensemble cast. "Better late than never. I had to wait for many years, but I finally feel happy to work with such esteemed actors - people who make me better. What can I possibly say about Tabu? I am so very happy that Aasmaan managed to get a star cast that people can take a lifetime to work with the individual actors, let alone work with them together. I am really lucky to be part of a film in which I have worked with the best," said Arjun.

The music of the film is composed by Vishal and the lyrics are written by Gulzar.

Produced by Vishal Bhardwaj, Bhushan Kumar and Luv Ranjan, Kuttey is set to release in theatres on January 13.
