Arjun Kapoor has been in the film industry for ten years, yet he refuses to take anything for granted. The actor admits that he is living a life he never imagined for himself.
During an interaction with Hindustan Times, Arjun said that he knows how difficult filmmaking is behind the camera because he has been an actor, an assistant director on set, and the son of a producer. The most important lesson he has learned over the years is that being in front of the camera is just as difficult as being behind it. One can't take anything for granted and also said that he is living a life he had never imagined. So, Arjun is eternally glad and happy to be a member of this industry and simply doing excellent work.
In the last ten years, that has been his driving force. Arjun debuted in Bollywood with Ishaqzaade in 2012 and has since experimented with various genres and characters, as evidenced by productions such as 2 States, Gunday, Ki & Ka, and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. With projects like Ek Villain Returns, Kuttey, and The Ladykiller in the works, he's entering a new phase of his career.
The actor continues by saying that the pandemic provided him with an opportunity to reflect on his life and work. Perhaps he is beginning a more positive chapter in his life now that he has had time to understand what happened to his job and what occurred to him personally during the pandemic. And that's happened because Arjun has had to sit at home and figure out where he was going wrong and reconnect.
The actor also discovered that he is resilient since he is able to survive the highs and lows. He is affected, but not enough to become engrossed and bogged down. Arjun never thought he was such a secure human being to be able to undertake all kinds of films and parts that I did.
When he first started in this business, all he wanted to do was act and establish a name for himself, and that has always been the case. The actor had no idea when he did Ki & Ka that the subject would pique people's interest. Arjun didn't realise he had the fortitude to crossdress at the climax of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, for example. Looking back, he realises he is a pretty strong person to be capable of such a feat. The actor doubts many popular performers or so-called commercial heroes would consider doing something like that.
