The first-look poster of the Arjun Ashokan-starrer, Theepori Benny, has been released. The first look shows the actor portraying the character of Benny, a village dweller. Arjun took to social media to share the new poster of the film, directed by Rajesh Madhavan.

In it, Arjun can be seen seated in front of a cowshed, hinting at the upcoming film’s rural setting. Femina George - who is best known for playing Bruce Lee Biji in the Tovino Thomas-starrer Minnal Murali - is the female lead in Theepori Benny. Joji Thomas, who wrote successful films like Vellimoonga and Johny Johny Yes Pappa, has penned the script for Theepori Benny. Rajesh has previously worked as an associate director for Biju Menon’s Vellimoonga,  a political satire.

Jagadish, TG Ravi, Prem Prakash and Nisha Sarang are among the other key characters in the film. Theepori Benny’s cinematography is handled by Ajay Francis George, while the film is produced by Shebin Backer. It’s edited by Sooraj ES, while the movie’s music is composed by Sreerag Saji.

Arjun established himself as one of the popular young actors in the Malayalam film industry. He has captivated the audience with his memorable portrayal of Sinu in Romancham and Sooraj in Pranaya Vilasam. Now, Theepori Benny promises a story similar to that of Vellimoonga.

Although details about the plot are still in wraps, the story of Theepori Benny is thought to revolve around a staunch leftist and his son, who is averse to politics. This premise might set the stage for exploring dynamic relationships between a father and son and their conflicting ideologies. Jagadish plays Vattakuttayil Chettayi, father of Arjun’s character in the film. The movie is said to delve into themes such as agriculture and romance.

Arjun was recently seen in Nivin Pauly’s Thuramukham and Thrishanku. Meanwhile, Ennittu Avasaanam, Nancy Rani and Chaaver are among his upcoming projects.
