Arijit Singh: I will need training if I need to act

There is always an air of excitement when Arijit Singh is around. Known to be a shy person, the musician leads a simple life in his hometown, Jiagunj, in Murshidabad, West Bengal. He sweeps the audience off the floor the moment he starts singing. However, does he now have the plan to debut in acting?  

Given his shy nature, Arijit has always lived a life away from the limelight. He is only seen in his music videos and live concerts. Does he have acting in mind? In a recent interview, he hinted at that. He said that he is not an actor. If anyone wants him to act, they will need to train him rigorously. 

Arijit is generally seen with his guitar whenever he appears in music videos. He walks with his guitar and talks with his guitar. In fact, he is seen getting into a car with his guitar in his hand. According to Arijit, that’s all he can do, and knows nothing beyond that. He has practically no concern with his makeup and style. He can set his hair though, he added.

But why does he not ride an expensive car or live in some luxury apartment when he earns lakhs from his shows? When asked he promptly said, “That’s how I live and I live happily.”   

In Murshidabad, he is seen living simply. He has a scooter and he drops and picks up his child to and from school.
