V Jayashankarr, who shot to fame with several short films and was the director behind films like Paperboy and Vitamin She, is back with another one-of-a-kind thriller titled Ari. Saikumar, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Anasuya, Srikanth Iyengar, Viva Harsha, Surabhi Prabhavathi and Vinod Varma play the lead roles in the film produced by Srinivas Ramireddy and Seshu Maramreddy,
The trailer of the film was unveiled today. The story revolves around a mysterious man, who claims he has a solution for every one and every problem. People of different socio-economic backgrounds, age groups keep coming to him to talk about their innermost desires. While a man wants to have a one night stand with an actress, a woman can’t tolerate her counterpart’s beauty.
While offering solutions, the mystery-man tells an elderly man needs to ‘rape’ a woman, he asks another one to throw acid on another woman’s face and advises another client to murder someone. They’re in shock with his unusual advises but are ready to go to any length to fulfil their desires. What gives this man the authority to come up with such audacious strategies? The makers claim Ari is an anthological film where the characters mirror the inner senses of a human being - Arishadvargas. Shiva Shankar Vara Prasad and G Shiva Kumar crank the camera for the film whose crew also comprises editor G Avinash and production designer Rajeev Nair. Bhanu and Jithu choreograph the songs while Anup Rubens is the music director.
The stirring background score in the trailer certainly warrants your attention and the unconventional story promises to offer a unique viewing experience. It also ends with a quote ‘I broke rules and regulations to sustain dharma.’ With a compelling premise, formidable star cast, will Ari be able to spring a surprise in theatres?
